Summer Time...

Dig out your headlamp and throw in a fresh set of batteries- it's summer time in Maine for trout fisherman. Fish early, and fish late for the best results. Water temps are approaching the high 60's on the big rivers and mid-day fishing is slowing down. It's time to change gears a little and work around it.

On the plus side, the smallmouth fishing is picking up for those who like to fish in the daylight. Break out the poppers and the buggers!
